My name is Joey de Vries, I am best described as an entrepreneurial person. When I was around
11 years old, I created my first web shop. In which I tried to sell logos in that time considerably basic ;).
What I did not know is that this would be the start of my entrepreneurial mind. It thought me to be very
self-learning, eager to complete something and teach me wonderful skills for the future.
After completing my secondary school in 2017 I immediately started my Bachelor in Entrepreneurship in Utrecht.
During that time, I started my second company out of an assignment called Keyleaner. When we turned a profit in
this year I decided to really go for it and continue outside of a school environment. Over the next few years
I developed Keyleaner bit by bit until I met one of my soon to be companions. In 2020 out of a need of one of the largest
promotional product companies in the USA and Canada, two companions and I created CBJ International Trading Corp.
This is where I learned to work in global environments, communicate on Chief Executive level, put together a well
and automated supply chain and manage multiple projects at once in my role as Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder.
At some point I decided promotional products was not my future and decided to take a step down from the day-to-day
business. At that time, I needed to decide if I wanted to return to my studies fulltime or pursue something else.
Brunel Nederland B.V. came on my path, together with an opportunity at the Hogeschool Rotterdam, to finish my Bachelor.
Whilst working for this amazing company. In my role as a sales consultant, I help top 500 companies in the Netherlands,
to get temporary employees for complex projects within the cloud infrastructure.

During my study entrepreneurship and retail management I learned the ins and outs of the craft. I learned mainly in theory and some in practice preparing me for the journey ahead. During my study I Co-Founded CBJ International Trading Corp. as the COO I learned a lot more in a short period of time, enabling me to do things I never thought possible. With my knowledge and experience at a young age I hope to help and inspire other young entrepreneurs to grab the opportunity and go for it!
